Are you feeling the summer sales burnout as a small business owner? Below I share my number #1 tip for avoiding burnout for the rest of the year. As a small business owner, I tend to go past my to-do list and work a lot of extra hours. That leads to sleeping late, missing meals and so on.

I sometimes mistake burnout for dedication when it's actually a bad habit and harmful in the long run. So if you are a business owner and overworking, join me in my number 1 tip for avoiding burnout.

Plan your day realistically by making an attainable list with your top priorities. Once you are done checking off the list, stop and give yourself a break for the rest of the day.

I get it. We want to do as much as we can for our businesses and support our communities. But we are doing a disservice if we are tired and not at our best when we show up.
